Your high school years should be filled with learning and growth. Increasingly, students are finding that high school is also a time of stress and anxiety. It seems that students are feeling more pressure than ever before when it comes to performing well. There are some things you can do to make sure your high school experience is enjoyable and successful. Embrace a Healthy Life Balance Dont stress about your grades so much that you forget to have fun. This is supposed to be an exciting time in your life. On the other hand, dont let too much fun get in the way of your study time. Establish a healthy balance, and dont let yourself go overboard either way. Understand What Time Management Really Means Sometimes, students assume theres some magical trick or shortcut to time management. Time management means being aware and taking action. Be aware of the things that waste time and reduce them. You dont have to stop them, just reduce them. Take action to replace time-wasters with active and responsible study habits. Eliminate Those Time-Wasters Theres a fine line between helpful unwinding between periods of intensive studying and wasting precious hours and attention in ways that are not recharging your batteries. Pay attention to how much time youre spending on social media, on video games, bingeing on shows, or whatever your guilty pleasures might be. Staying connected to friends is vital, but make it quality time that leaves you clear-headed and rested. In my experience emerging in a country where most people look and act a certain way, while I am the outlier thanks to my different looks and traditions, has made me a minority. Being born in Mexico City from a Jewish family that immigrated from Poland two generations ago, and then going to college in Texas, has made me feel the differences of being lets say, â€Å"different†. When I started going to elementary school I went to the mostly catholic American School, where most kids would bully me based on my looks and traditions. The kids would call me stereotypical Jewish insults such as greedy, big nose and the one that I felt was the worst Christ killer. Everyday when I went to school I was reminded of my Jewish identity, even though most of the things they called me where not true I was still reminded that I was a minority amongst them and my only possible role in that situation was to take the heat. Another moment when I was clearly reminded of my Jewish identity while atten ding elementary school was, when the religious holidays approached. My mother had to go to the school in advance to ask if I could miss school those particular days, they generally said that I could miss one, maybe two days. This was the bands third studio album released officially. The album had come under the thrash metal genre when it had been released. It is often said and proven by many that Master of Puppets Is one of the greatest albums of all time. Although there is not much history behind the album, it is still considered a big part of rock history. Adding on, a countless amount of people have regarded that Master of Puppets has been said to be the most influential metal album created.All of the lyrics In the albums track list were written by James Hatfield and was produced by Fleming Rasmussen. Rasmussen was asked to produce this album because of his work on his recent album with the Rainbows Difficult to Cure. In Master of Puppets, the basic rock instruments were used such as the electric guitar, the drums, the bass, vocals and some studio effects. The crowd was going wild already. Then, they slipped into Master of Puppets, a classic Metallica anthem of fast guitar riffs and awesome solos. Hetfield got a lot of help with the lyrics from the crowd. After Puppets, they played songs from the new album, which quieted the crowd a bit. When they switched to some metal from their first two albums, it was more than enough to satisfy the older fans and confuse the Unforgiven 11 generation. Metallica finished off this section with Fight Fire With Fire, a speed-metal, fist-pumping song from Ride the Lightning. After that, the band settled down, taking breaks while playing parts of Nothing Else Matters, followed by a small acoustic set. Hetfield thanked the crowd for having patience.
